Baby Aardwolf pair.

The Aardwolf (Proteles cristatis) is normally a night creature whose diet consists mainly of ants. They won't easily fight when confronted, but rather rely on their fearsome appearance; which hardly looks possible when looking at these two cute beasties spotted in the grass fields of a farm in eastern Namibia. I used some fill flash to try and get some detail on the front in this strong backlit situation. More of this pair in the picture 'Baby Aardwolf pair 2'
