Born 18 August 1993 - silver grey - brown eyes

Kahn is an all breeds Best in Show winner, Reserve BISS, Multi Group and Best of Breed winner. This certificate of Merit winner at Best of the Best competition, Top Working Group Qualifier is a fine producer of Champions, outstanding sled dog and leader of my dog team. In 1998 Kahn was one of the Top 100 Dogs in the Country (43rd overall).

Bred at Arctilight Kennels in Canada his dam was imported  to South Africa and here she  whelped a litter of  four puppies of which Kahn is one and the only to achieve such status and recognition in the show ring under mostly international judges. Despite his racy appearance and different style to that of the time, my faith and perseverance paid off.  In the long run, Kahn proved to be far superior than given credit for by fellow breeders. The introduction of  Arcticlight bloodlines with Innisfree become the foundation of  Kamchatka and a winning combination. His brother Zoro also a champion and sire of Queenie became the top sled dog  in South Africa. Nicknamed the Canadian Dog, Kahn is a true example of the dual purpose Siberian Husky.
