While I believe that it is almost certain that there is lots of intelligent life in the universe, I also believe that the probability that aliens have visited this planet just once, to be extremely low, and more than once to be almost zero. There are well over a 100 billion stars in our galaxy alone, so assuming that alien intelligence had overcome the speed of light barrier they would have a choice of over 100 billion stars (solar systems) to visit.
