Cable Trap Pillars Lock Plate
  1. Remove 2 screws from the back of the computer
  2. Fasten the Pillars to the computer using the screws provided
  3. Slip the lock bolt partially through the first piller, one end of the steel cable and 1 end of the cable trap.
  4. Tuck all computer cables into the cable trap and slide the lock bolt through the second eye of the cable trap.
  5. Pass the  steel cable through a suitable hole. ie. cable hole in desk, drawer handle or glue the lock plate to a suitable clean secure surface and use the eye on this plate.
  6. slip the lock bolt through the other end of the cable and then through the second pillar.
  7. Slip the lock into the lock bolt eye from underneath to the middle of the hasp of the lock. Turn the lock sideways and slip the hasp behind the lock rod and over the pillar, Twist downwards and lock.
  8. Use Locktite 401 or Quick Tite super glue.
  9. Note: Additional lock plates and longer lockbolts are available from the manufacturer.
