BEFORE PURCHASING THIS LOCK KIT
MAKE SURE YOUR NOTEBOOK HAS A
KENSINGTON SLOT
(See Pic)

Installation

  1. Remove the padlock from the locking device.
  2. Turn the Knurled part of the device until the tongue is flat.
  3. Slip the tongue into the "Kensington" slot on the notebook (see Pic) and twist 90 degrees until the holes line up on the device.
  4. Pass the  steel cable through a suitable hole. ie. cable hole in desk, drawer handle or glue the lock plate to a suitable clean secure surface, and use the eye on this plate
  5. Slip the lock through the other end of the cable and then through the device and close the lock.
  6. Use Locktite 401 or Quick Tite super glue.

  7. Note: Additional lock shoes, cables and locks are available from the manufacturer.
